How It Works

Apply & Train

Apply now and schedule your interview. You’ll get instant online access to your 120 Hour Advanced International TEFL Course to get started straight away.

Interview & Docs

If your interview is successful, it’s time to provide all your documents, including: degree, transcripts, police record and copy of your valid passport.

Go to Thailand

Once you’ve been formally accepted, you’re ready to go! You’ll be informed to book your flight and, on arrival, taken to your orientation.

Outside The Classroom

Stepping outside the classroom, you’ll have the opportunity to experience Thailand’s rich culture. Not to mention the vibrant heritage of its neighbours such as Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia. Southeast Asia is a hot spot for authentic and traditional festivals, adventure trails, Buddhist temples, tantalising cuisine and nightlife. Why not spend your school holidays island hopping with your fellow TEFL interns? Or better yet, rent some scooters and travel along Thailand’s breathtaking coastline. We can’t wait to hear all about it!

Your Guide To Thailand

Well known for its stunning beaches, rich heritage and ancient temples, it’s no surprise that Thailand is a top TEFL destination. From training to placement locations, our free guide gives you all the information about our programme.

Your Teaching Experience

If you’re considering teaching English in Thailand, this internship offers an incredibly rewarding and immersive experience. You’ll teach up to 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in a supportive school environment.

Variety of age groups

Your TEFL classes will be divided between primary and secondary school students, teaching learners aged 3–17. This variety keeps every day different and helps you develop a wide range of teaching skills.

Engaging lesson style

Lessons focus on developing spoken and written English proficiency, with plenty of freedom to make classes fun and creative. Think music, film, food, drama and interactive activities that bring language learning to life.

Supported teaching environment

You’ll never be teaching alone. At least two TEFL teachers are placed in each school, with ongoing guidance and round-the-clock support from colleagues whenever you need it.

Time to plan & prepare

Alongside classroom teaching, you’ll have up to 15 hours per week for lesson planning, grading and school activities, ensuring a balanced and manageable workload.

Teach together

This programme is ideal for friends and couples who want to teach abroad together. Placements are subject to availability, so early application is recommended to secure a shared placement.

After the orientation in Bangkok, we then had 2-3 weeks free before we started school. I spent a good five days on the Phi Phi islands and they were just amazing; the views, the beach, the parties, it’ll be hard to beat! My favourite thing about Thailand has to be the food.

I enjoy teaching Primary 3 as the kids are young and they absorb absolutely everything – there is also an endless amount of hugs! P6 is crazy – in the best way possible. They are interested in and love music.
